A film depicting the beginning of Urban leaves and how it evolved. It showcases the Mumbai Port Trust terrace garden which was our first experiment in waste recycling and urban farming. The first community farm in Mumbai ( possibly in India too ) took off with the enthusiasm and encouragement of its founder members, committed volunteers and project partners at Maharashtra Nature Park and Nana Nani Park.

 

This film made by Suma Josson, encourages us to visualise all green productive rooftops in urban cities. Gives us a hope that limitless possibilities exist in making our urban lifestyles healthy and sustainable, if we put our minds and hearts together.
